Here is the example for the writing:

I wish I had more free time. I take classes all day, and I have a part time job in the evening. At home I spend my time studying and doing chores around the house. I would like to have more time to read and go out with my friends.

As you can see in the example, you begin by stating your wish. Then you explain the way things are right now, which is the reason why you came up with that wish. Finally you explain your wish in more detail.

 

Write about 2 or 3 wishes.

Gerund phrases as subjecs:

Example:  overcoming dangers as a family was one of the rewards.

Working as a phone operator must be boring.

Learning to control the students was hard at first.

Write 3 sentences using gerund phrases as subjects.

In our class today we were working on the text Dreams Can Come True. Students had to write questions about the text, questions that could be answered by reading the text. 

Reminder: when we use an auxiliary  the subject must go between the auxiliary and the verb.
